NSI is looking for several dynamic self-starters able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively deal with clients required. Contractors, consultants and telecommuters welcome.
- Application Programmers
- We currently need several application programmers with a minimum of three years experience designing and building client/server database applications. Must be able to work alone or as part of a team. Full life-cycle development experience helpful. Must be familiar with the windows 16 and 32 bit API and have solid knowledge of:
- Delphi & Object Pascal.
- Visual Basic or Power Builder.
- SQL.
- Client Server and relational database technology.
- The following skills are helpful but not required:
- C & C++, MFC/OWL
- Clipper
- Oracle Developer
- FoxPro, Visual FoxPro
- Java and HTML.
- Interbase, Oracle, SQL Server or Sybase
- dBaseIII+, IV, Visual dBase, Paradox, Xbase, Access
- Internet Developers
- Seeking artistically inclined, creative individuals with two to three years experience developing Web pages with HTML. Knowledge of Internet protocols and server software. Knowledge of Java and Java Script helpful. Must be familiar with production tools such as MS-FrontPage, HOTMetal Pro, IntraBuilder and Cold Fusion.
- Imaging and Document Management Specialists
- Looking for individuals experienced in document imaging/management concepts and practices. Knowledge of one or more document imaging/management software including Watermark Enterprise, FileNet, PC-DOCS, DOCS-Open, Soft Solutions, Kodak Imagery and Kofax Ascent required. Ability to integrate software and develop user interfaces in Delphi or Visual Basic helpful.
Technical Writers
Two to three years experience writing technical manuals for software or hardware products. Strong communications skills required. Ability to understand and translate technical jargon to plain English a must. Familiarity with software development and database concepts helpful. Must be familiar with Windows Help authoring tools.
Computer Instructors
Looking for people with at least two years experience teaching software and hardware skills to individuals and groups in the following areas:
- Word Processing (MS-Word, WordPerfect)
- Spreadsheets (MS-Excel, Lotus)
- Groupware (Novell Groupwise, Lotus Notes)
- PC and LAN (PC Configuration, Novell Netware, Windows for Workgroups)
